SYNLawn CoolPlay 23mm Playground Turf

Playground turf in fourteen colours, built with COOLplus so the surface the kids land on does not heat up like standard synthetic grass.

CoolPlay is 23mm texturised polyethylene monofilament fibre on SYNLawn's PaintBack backing, made in Australia. The fibre carries infrared reflective pigment right through it rather than on the surface, which SYNLawn says lowers surface temperature by up to 20% against standard synthetic grass. The pile is non directional, so it looks the same from every side of the play area and you are not fighting a grain when you join rolls.

Rolls are 3.71m wide, laid over a compacted base and joined with tape and adhesive the same as any synthetic lawn. Water drains through at 2,000mm per hour, so the surface is usable again quickly after a storm instead of holding puddles. Pick the colour to suit the job, green for a surface that still reads as lawn, the brights for zoning and hopscotch, the neutrals for paths and roadways between them.

Colours and roll width Most colours come on a 3.71m wide roll. White and Yellow are cut to 1.83m, which is the practical width for line marking and inlay work, and that is why they are priced lower. The width is shown next to those two colours when you pick them.

Coverage Priced per metre off the roll, so one metre of a 3.71m roll covers 3.71m2 and one metre of a 1.83m roll covers 1.83m2. A 3.71m by 5m play area takes 5 metres. Not sure how much you need? Give us a call and we will work it out with you.
