A 40mm lawn made from 60% biobased material derived from sugarcane, with a 15 year warranty and a 5 star wear rating.

Classic GT 40 is 40mm PE monofilament fibre over a natural coloured texturised PP sub pile, and the fibre is made from 60% biobased material derived from sugarcane rather than entirely from oil. SYNLawn says the yarn technology comes from the same work behind Olympic hockey pitches. You get the environmental story without giving anything up, it still rates 5 star for wear and softness.

Rolls are 3.71m wide over a compacted base. Rated for heavy traffic, so it handles a working backyard, and the 15 year warranty is the longest SYNLawn puts on a landscape turf. Worth specifying where a client is asking what the sustainable option is.
