ITF pace rated court turf, built to go straight over an old cracked asphalt court rather than a new slab.

Court Turf PE is 19mm polyethylene at 1,000g per square metre, extruded by APT in Melbourne. It is a sand filled system, and APT rate it high on infill, which is what gives the surface its footing and holds the fibre upright under play. The ITF pace rating is category 3, medium, so the ball comes off it at a club pace rather than fast.

It lays over existing asphalt or concrete, and APT specifically rate it for substrates that already have cracks and imperfections in them, which is the usual reason an old court gets resurfaced rather than dug up. Sand goes in after laying. It suits tennis, basketball, netball and volleyball at residential and club level.
