A tubular frame gun, so it does not flex and spring while you are running a bead.

The tubular body is stiffer than an open skeleton frame, and that stiffness is what you feel at the trigger. A frame that flexes under load makes the gun feel spongy, delays the sealant coming out and then keeps pushing it out after you have let go, which is how you end up with a bead that runs on past the corner.
