A blunt blade is what makes a knife dangerous, because you push harder and it skates. With seven snap off points you break a segment off the moment the edge goes off, and the end cap has the snapper built into it, so you do not need pliers and you are not bending the blade against a bit of steel hoping it breaks square.

The slide lock holds the blade at whatever depth you set it, which is how you cut a box open without going through what is inside. The body is ABS so it is light in the pocket, it takes any standard 25mm snap off blade, and there is a tether hole in it if you work at height.
