A fibreglass handle that does not care how long the hammer sits in the back of the ute.

Timber handles move. They dry out in a hot ute, swell up after rain, and the head goes loose right when you need it. Solid core fibreglass does not do any of that, so the hammer you throw in on Friday swings the same on Monday, which is why most demo crews have gone to it.

The head is forged, hardened and tempered for a longer life against brick and concrete, and the rubber overmould grip gives you something to hold onto with gloves on and wet hands. It comes in a range of head weights, so you can pick the one you can actually swing all day rather than the heaviest one on the rack.
