OX Trade Open Reel Tape, Metric Steel Blade

A long open reel tape with a steel blade that reads true under tension.

Steel is the reason to use this for setting out. It does not stretch under tension the way a fibreglass tape does, so when you pull a diagonal to square up a slab, the number you read is the number that is actually there.

The blade is nylon wrapped to keep the markings legible after being dragged through mud and gravel, and it is 13mm wide, so it holds enough shape to run out on its own. The 3x rewind gets it back on the reel without you standing there winding all afternoon, and the case is high impact ABS.
