Twelve pockets in heavy 2mm oil tanned leather, so the belt outlasts the tools you put in it.

Leather thickness is the spec that decides how long an apron lasts. At over 2mm this is split leather that has been oil tanned, so the pockets hold their shape instead of collapsing flat after a few months and letting everything tip out when you bend over. Thin leather goes soft, then it tears at the pocket corners, then you buy another one.

The stitching is doubled and done in waterproof nylon, which is the other failure point, because the thread usually goes before the hide does. It is an allrounder layout with twelve pockets, 710mm by 1270mm, one size fits all, and it is set up to suit left and right handed users.
