A line you can pull up tight and trust to still be tight at smoko.

It is a tough synthetic with high tensile strength, and that is the whole job of a builders line. A line that stretches under tension sags in the middle of a long run, and every course you lay off it picks up that sag. This one holds the tension you set, so the wall is straight because the line was straight.

It comes on a flexible plastic spool, so it winds back without kinking and survives being dropped on a slab. A kink in a line is a weak point that eventually lets go halfway through a course.
