High tensile synthetic line, so it pulls up straight instead of sagging in the middle of a long run.

Stretch is what ruins a builders line. Pull a soft line tight between two profiles and it sags through the middle, and you have put a gentle curve into a wall that nobody notices until the job is up and somebody steps back from it. This is tough synthetic with high tensile strength, so it comes up straight and stays where you set it.

The lime colour is easy to pick out against brick, block and shade, which sounds like a detail until you are chasing a line across a big frontage late in the day. The flexible plastic spool winds back on without kinking and does not shatter when it hits the slab.
