An aluminium straight edge that is actually straight, and stays that way.

A straight edge is only worth carrying if it holds true, and that comes down to the extrusion. This one is high quality extruded aluminium with a fluted profile, and the flutes are structural, not decorative: they stiffen the section so a 3600mm length does not sag in the middle when you are screeding off it or checking a wall.

The same flutes give you somewhere to get your fingers, so you can lift and drag it without pinching it flat against a wet surface. The powder coated finish means dried render and slurry knock straight off it instead of building up and giving you a false reading.
