A light 35mm ratchet strap rated to 2500kg lashing capacity for everyday loads.

35mm is the size you actually reach for most days. It is enough strap for tools, timber, ladders and garden gear on a ute or trailer, without the bulk of a 50mm heavy transport strap that you then have to coil up and find room for.

It carries a 2500kg lashing capacity and 5000kg breaking strength and complies with AS/NZS, so it is legal to use on a load rather than just handy. The double locking mechanism holds the tension once you have cranked it, which is what stops a load working loose halfway down the highway.
