A wide magnesium float that covers more slab per pass and does not wear your shoulders out.

Magnesium is the reason to pick this over an aluminium or timber float. It is significantly lighter for the same blade area, so a 400mm wide blade is still comfortable to run for a full pour, and magnesium opens the surface and brings cream up cleanly rather than tearing at it. The finish comes off smoother with fewer passes.

The blade is 90mm x 400mm, wide enough to level a decent width in one sweep so you leave fewer join lines to chase. The ends are bevelled so the leading edge lifts over the surface instead of digging in, and the DURAGRIP handle gives you something to hold that does not chew your palm up on a big slab.
