The number to read on a tie down is the lashing capacity, not the breaking strength. This one is 2500kg lashing capacity with a 5000kg breaking strength, and it complies with AS/NZS 4380.2001, so it is the paperwork as well as the strap if you ever get pulled over with a load on.

9m of 50mm polyester gives you enough to go over and under a pallet of pavers or a stack of timber and still have tail to ratchet. The double locking mechanism holds the tension you put into it rather than creeping loose over a rough road, and the protective sleeves stop the strap chewing into painted or finished gear.
