Handle and blade moulded as one piece, so there is no joint to twist off halfway up a wall.

Most sponge floats fail at the point where the handle meets the backing, because that joint copes with every bit of sideways load you put through it working a wall. Moulding the handle and the blade as a single piece removes that failure point completely.

The sponge swaps out easily, so when the face is worn or clogged with cured render you fit a fresh one rather than buying another float. The rubber is soft enough to close the surface without tearing it open and it lasts.
