A pointed plastic float for the corners a square float cannot reach.

The pointed nose is what you buy this for. Square floats stop short in internal corners and around penetrations, and you end up finishing those spots by hand or leaving them rough. The point lets you work mud right into the corner with the same tool you are using on the flat.

The base is diamond patterned, which grips the material and brings the fines up rather than skating over the surface, and the body is high strength ABS so it survives being dropped off a plank. At 140 x 270mm it is a manageable size for detail work rather than covering ground.
