Laser welded 10mm segments built for hard clay bricks and pavers, not general purpose cutting.

Hard fired clay is abrasive in a different way to concrete, and a general purpose blade will polish off on it and stop cutting. This blade is specified for medium to hard clay bricks and pavers, so the bond releases at the right rate to keep fresh diamond exposed on that material.

The segments are laser welded rather than sintered on, which is the joint you want on a bench saw where the blade runs long passes under load, and they start at 10mm high so there is real life in the blade before it is finished.
