Carbon steel blade, precision ground, at 150mm for the work a full size trowel is too big for.

The blade is high quality carbon steel with a precision tapered grind. Tapering leaves the blade stiffer at the shank and finer at the edge, so it follows the surface instead of chattering across it, and that is the reason a good trowel lays a consistent finish rather than leaving lines through it.

At 150mm it gets into the spots a full size trowel cannot reach, around fixtures, into corners and hard up against edges. The DURAGRIP handle keeps the hold comfortable through repetitive detail work.
