Magnesium is the reason to pick this over a steel float. It is far lighter, so your shoulders last through a big pour, and it brings the cream up without sealing the slab off before you are ready.

Both ends are bevelled and the corners are rounded, so when you change direction the leading edge lifts instead of digging a gouge you then have to work back out. 80mm x 400mm with a DURAGRIP handle.
