Segment height is how much blade you actually get to use before it is finished. At 15mm this one has close to double the working life of the 8mm to 10mm segments on a lot of general purpose blades, which on a demo saw that spends its days in concrete is the number that decides your cost per cut.

It is a multi purpose blade, so it handles granite, natural stone, brick, concrete and some abrasive materials without swapping blades between tasks. The reinforced centre plate holds the blade true under load rather than letting it wander, the cool fast semi transparent design pulls heat and vibration out of the cut, and the dual centre flange keeps it seated properly on the saw.
