The jaw on this 200mm wrench is only 3mm thick. That sounds like a small thing until you are lying under a sink trying to get onto a backnut with 5mm of clearance, which is exactly where a standard adjustable wrench stops being a tool and starts being a paperweight.

The slim head design carries that through the whole wrench, not just the jaw tip, and the jaw still opens ultra wide so you are not giving up capacity to get the access. The whole head is precision hardened, which is what stops a thin jaw rounding off or spreading the first time you lean on it.
