The blade is an extra wide chisel rather than a narrow pry point. Spreading the load across a wider face puts the pressure into the moulding instead of punching a hole in the sheet or crushing the stud behind it. On a reno where the wall is staying, that is the difference between a quick strip out and a day of patching.

At 250mm it still fits in a nail bag and you get useful leverage out of it. The claw is polished and bevelled so it slips in behind a tight moulding, and the handle has a non slip grip for when you are pulling hard at an awkward angle.
