Most bad hacksaw cuts are a tension problem, not a blade problem. A slack blade flexes and follows the easiest path, which is how you end up with a bevelled cut through a bit of threaded rod. This frame is built to pull a 300mm blade up to proper tension, and the quick tool less change mechanism means you can set that tension by hand on the job rather than hunting for a spanner.

The frame is powder coated steel, so it survives being thrown in the back of the ute, and the rubber overmould handle gives you something to actually push against when you are cutting conduit or steel overhead.
