A 1.2mm blade removes less material, so porcelain and granite edges come off clean instead of chipped.

Blade thickness is the whole story on a tile blade. At 1.2mm this one is about as thin as they come, which means less material torn out of the cut and far less chipping along the glaze line. On a mitre or an exposed edge that is the difference between a cut you can lay and one you throw in the bin.

The turbo rim keeps the slurry and dust moving out of the kerf, so the diamonds stay in contact with the tile instead of riding on packed waste. It runs a 16mm bore and is rated to 14,500 rpm, so check your grinder's no load speed before you fit it.
