Every other chisel on site is blunt, because sharpening one properly takes time nobody has. This one takes replaceable tips, so a blunt chisel is a thirty second fix with a bolt rather than a trip to the bench grinder. The holster carries two spare tips and the spare bolts, with the edges covered so you are not reaching into a bag full of sharp steel.

It is built slim and light to actually be carried, not left in the truck, and the tang runs from the striking cap right through to the tip so it takes hammer blows without flexing at the join. The striking cap is glass fibre reinforced polycarbonate, which absorbs the hammer shock instead of sending it up your arm, and the bottom of the chisel sits flush with the bottom of the blade so you get full cut depth. The holster is MOLLE compatible and hangs off the outside of a tool bag.
