Polytan's 60mm stadium grade football turf, built as one surface for soccer, AFL, rugby union and league on the same field.

LigaTurf RS+ 260 is a 60mm turf built on Polytan's Polytex monofilament yarn, a rhomboid section filament 360 microns thick with spring back built into it, on their Qualiback secondary backing. The rhomboid section is what makes the fibre stand back up after a boot goes through it, which is the whole game on a field that gets 60 hours of play a week. It carries COOLplus, Polytan's infrared reflective pigment, which they say keeps the surface up to 20% cooler than similar artificial grass.

This is a full system, not a roll you lay on dirt. It sits over an elastic shockpad on engineered pavement, and takes a two part infill, a performance layer of recycled SBR or EPDM granule over kiln dried silica sand. Polytan rate it at 60 hours a week of heavy use with a resurface at 8 to 10 years, and they position it as a ONE TURF surface so a club can run soccer, AFL and rugby on the one field.
