Kashmiri Cloudy Black Natural Pebbles

Tumbled black pebbles with natural grey cloud marbling, for a dark feature that keeps its depth instead of reading as a flat black mass.

Kashmiri Cloudy Black Natural Pebbles are natural stone with a grey-black base and pale grey marbling swirled through every pebble. The tumbled finish takes the edges off, so they are smooth to handle and sit flat when spread. Because the marbling is natural, no two stones are the same, and that is what stops a dark pebble from going dull across a large area.

The colour holds without fading in sun or rain. Worth knowing before you order: this stone looks very different wet and dry. Dry, it is a matte grey-black with the marbling clearly visible. Wet, it deepens to a glossy near black and the marbling almost disappears. The first photo shows both, dry on the left and wet on the right. If you have seen this pebble looking glossy black, that was wet stone, and it will not look like that in a dry garden bed.

Available in four sizes. The 2-4mm and 5-7mm grades read as a fine textured surface and suit pot toppers, tight borders and detail work. The 20-30mm and 30-50mm grades read as individual stones and suit larger beds and feature zones. Our photos are shot close up so the stone fills the frame, which makes every grade look bigger than it is, so go by the millimetre size rather than by how large the pebbles look in the picture.

Coverage 1m³ covers approximately 10 to 12m² at 75mm depth. Coverage varies depending on size selected. Lay over weed mat for outdoor applications to reduce maintenance.
