Cut from dense Australian hardwood and CCA treated for in ground use, this 100 x 75mm post is the one you reach for when a job needs to hold. Fence lines, retaining wall uprights, pergola footings, shade sail anchors and gate posts all sit well within what it handles.

Hardwood costs a bit more than pine up front and earns it back by not moving. It resists splitting under load, takes a fastener without chewing out, and holds a straight line through wet and dry seasons instead of bowing on you halfway through the job.

Sizing Sold individually. Set posts at no more than 2.4m centres for standard paling fencing, and allow roughly 600mm in the ground for a 1.8m finished height.
