Adbri Masonry Windsor Stone Wall Block - Charcoal

Build a garden or retaining wall to just over a metre without reinforcement, using a block with a locking lip that keeps every course in line.

Windsor Stone is a concrete retaining wall block with a crunched, stone-like face. Each block has a rear locking lip that sits over the course below, so the wall sets its own line as you stack and stays put. Adbri rates it to 1040mm unreinforced, so walls just over a metre get done with blocks alone.

Lay it on a compacted roadbase footing with a level first course, backfill with drainage aggregate and run ag pipe behind the wall. Each block adds 130mm, so 8 courses reaches the 1040mm maximum. Seek council approval for anything over 800mm. It suits retaining walls, raised garden beds, steps and curved walls, concave or convex, where you need the height without bringing in reinforcement.

Best For Retaining walls, setback walls, raised garden beds, steps and curved garden walls up to just over a metre.

Coverage Priced per block. You need 26 blocks per m2 of wall face. A 5m wall at 520mm high (4 courses) is 2.6m2 of face, which needs 68 blocks. Adbri recommends adding 5% for cuts and breakage. Not sure how much you need? Give us a call and we will work it out with you.
