A 150mm diameter H4 treated pine round log at 1.8m. This is a serious section of timber, and it is the one to specify when the log is retaining real soil pressure rather than tidying up a garden bed.

The extra diameter also changes how it looks. Stacked as a low wall or stood as a bollard run, 150mm logs read as solid and deliberate rather than decorative, which suits entry statements, car park edges and rural frontages.
